Needs Work but Has Potential

I arrived excited for a weekend getaway. Unfortunately, the front desk staff lacked warmth, and my room door wouldn’t lock. After expressing my concerns, the response was unhelpful. Ultimately, I had to leave for safety reasons. Potential for improvement is noticeable. just needs better management.

The breakfast area was clean and inviting, with a friendly staff member ready to assist. However, operating the TV was challenging without clear instructions.

I loved how the hotel was just a short walk to Clive Lake where I could enjoy beautiful park views and take leisurely strolls. There were great dining options like Starbucks just half a km away for a quick coffee fix.

The staff was incredibly helpful, even bringing breakfast to my room after my surgery! I loved relaxing in the heated pool and soaking up the sun on the loungers. The Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, but everything else made my stay great! 😊

It was just a well-suited match for a hurried visit in West Des Moines with excellent value for money. The room was decent and served its purpose for a family stay. Make sure to ask for extra towels at check-in if you need more during your stay.

the king suite was clean and just as pictured. the shower had great pressure, and the bed was decent for a good night’s sleep. breakfast was okay, and the 24-hour gym was a nice bonus. plus, it was close to a grocery store, making it super convenient.
